From June 3-7, 2019 the international Communities and Technologies Conference will take place in Vienna, Austria.

The event aims to stimulate scholarly debate and disseminate research on the complex connections between communities – in their multiple forms – and information and communication technologies. It offers, however, also a place to showcase examples of how non-academic actors (individuals and organizations) are working with technologies to effect community relations.

Careables applied to this community track and has been accepted. We will thus showcase some of our careables and the stories leading to these DIY healthcare solutions.
