“Increasing Accessibility for People with Disability” is the title of our upcoming exhibition in Erbil, Iraq.

Field Ready Iraq team with Careables are hosting The Careables Moving  Exhibition, a one month-long exhibit beginning 10th Jan to 10th Feb 2021 (adhering to Covid-19 safety measures), focused on “accessibility tools for people with disability” in Erbil at Erbil Innovation House, Bakhtyari next to Saj Alref restaurant, Nergiz plaza 3rd floor. The exhibit will highlight how digital design and fabrication can produce valuable health-related products and support different communities. Careables is an open and inclusive approach to healthcare based on digital fabrication and collaborative making. Field Ready will showcase a collection of some cool hardware designs and co-design what we call “Careables.” We are using a large, ventilated space to showcase the exhibit, limiting occupancy and requiring masks and other personal protective equipment to attend. The exhibit will feature some of Careables’ partners and their work from around the world, including projects in Ghana, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Nepal and the Netherlands. We will also show how you can create customised healthcare and accessibility devices and designs yourself – so please drop by!
